CienagaStories

Cienaga Stories

Stories from the Colombian coast

Cienaga Stories is an independent production company rooted in the Colombian Caribbean. We believe in cinema as a way of seeing — slow, attentive, unafraid of silence.

Our work draws from the landscapes, rhythms, and stories of the coast. We produce narrative shorts, documentaries, and experimental work that bridges the personal and the political.

Founded in 2024 by Esteban Corzo, the company takes its name from the town of Cienaga, Magdalena — a place where the mountains meet the sea, and where Gabriel Garcia Marquez witnessed the banana massacre that would shape a century of Colombian storytelling.
